Privacy policy

Last updated 31 August 2026. This policy explains how Detaio handles information when you use Detaio Spaces, our AI interior-design application and related services.

Information we collect

We collect account details such as your email address and display name; room photographs, design instructions, generated designs, saved products, and project activity you choose to provide; subscription and entitlement status; and technical information needed to operate, secure, and diagnose the service. Apple processes App Store payment details. Detaio does not receive your full payment-card number from Apple.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, generate and save designs, synchronize your projects and render allowance, provide support, prevent misuse, maintain security, comply with law, and improve service reliability. We do not sell your room photographs or personal information.

Service providers and disclosure

We disclose only the information required to providers that support authentication, cloud hosting and storage, AI generation, analytics and diagnostics, customer support, and subscription processing. These providers process information for Detaio under their own security and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.

Storage and retention

Account projects and associated images are retained while your account is active so they can be synchronized across devices. Temporary processing files and operational logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for generation, security, troubleshooting, and legal obligations. Financial transaction records may be retained where tax, accounting, fraud, or chargeback laws require it.

Your choices and deletion

You can remove individual projects where that control is available and can initiate permanent account deletion from the account settings in the app. Account deletion removes your Detaio identity and associated personal projects, images, and designs unless a record must legally be retained. You can withdraw optional marketing consent at any time.

Children

Detaio Spaces is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
