Terms of service

Last updated 31 August 2026. These terms govern your use of Detaio Spaces and its AI-assisted interior-design services.

Your account

You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. You must provide accurate information, comply with applicable law, and not use the service to infringe another person's rights or harm, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service.

AI-generated designs

Designs are generated using automated systems and are visual concepts, not architectural, engineering, electrical, construction, or safety advice. Dimensions, placement, product availability, colours, and prices may be inaccurate. Verify all measurements, structural requirements, installation instructions, and product details with qualified professionals and retailers before purchasing or commencing work.

Subscriptions and free trials

Detaio Spaces Essential provides the render allowance shown in the app for each subscription period. If you are eligible and accept a free trial, your Apple Account is charged the displayed monthly price when the 30-day trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple manages payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund requests for purchases made through the App Store. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Products and third-party links

Product links, prices, availability, delivery, warranties, and returns are supplied by independent retailers and may change. Purchases of physical goods are between you and the retailer under the retailer's terms. Detaio may receive an affiliate commission from qualifying purchases without increasing the displayed retailer price.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, or improve the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every generated result will meet a particular aesthetic or practical requirement.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Detaio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on generated concepts, third-party products, or unavailable services. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees.

Termination

You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for material misuse, security risk, or legal necessity. Terms that by their nature should continue—including payment records, disclaimers, and liability limits—survive termination.
